2009 Trade Days

T.J. the Clown was there daily and children had the opportunity to climb the National Guard Rock Wall. There were 2 new shows this year. Magician Jimmy Dixon who has been listed in the Guinness Book of World Records and the Puppetone Rockers entertained young and old.

The community center offered quilting, weaving, and crocheting displays. Children made biscuits, watched cheese making and butter churning. Outdoor demonstrations included the making of apple butter and lye soap, tobacco twisting, a blacksmith exhibit and the operation of engines and antique saws. The Historic Trade Mill was open and operating. The fair offered truly unique local and Native American crafts and foods.
