The 2010 Old Butler Days celebration was held on Friday August 6th and Saturday August 7th on the grounds of Babe Curtis Park by the Ruritan Club and the Butler Museum. A large crowd enjoyed the beautiful weather, games, crafts, music and food.

Old Butler Days celebrates the original town of Butler. Its location is now covered by Watauga Lake after the town and its residents were moved before the lake was created. The Butler Museum offers a close look at the town and the circumstances which led to its move. ( Click here to learn more about the museum.)
